#DumsorMustStop set to take place-Yvonne Nelson

The DumsorMustStop spearheaded by Yvonne Nelson and team is set to take place soon with the starting point at the University of Ghana after attempts by the Greater Accra Regional Police Command to halt the demonstration from taking place and also making changes to the proposed routes by the conveners of the #DumsorMustStop demonstration.

The vigil starts at exactly 2pm and comes to a climax at 10pm at the frontage of the University of Ghana on 8th June, 2024. This comes on the back of comments by the Energy Minister referencing the fact that "Dumsor" is a term mainly associated to the John Mahama administration and the recent challenges with power supply is due to maintenance works which he calls "dum sie sie".
