THE UG E-LEARNING ISSUES-STUDENT COMMENDS THE UNIVERSITY AUTHORITIES

As the University have decided to resort to use of Sakai for the continuation of studies while in this difficult time we face as humanity.
There is in fact, quite a lot of questions among students populace that was raised about the E-learning platform i.e Sakai LMS being ready for use.
I had an interview with one of these Students of the University of Ghana.Who goes by the name Mr.Hakeem Wikireh,He is an astute member of  the prestigious  Commonwealth Hall and is offering BA in Political Science and Information Studies.
The first question posed to him
Derrick🔊: “What do you make the University's decision to alternatively have lectures online especially using the Sakai LMS platform".
Mr.Hakeem:🔊 I think their decision is out of frustration, but as the saying goes there is a first time for everything. We will have to quickly adapt to this method of teaching and learning. The good side of this exercise is that after students have been acclimatised to the system its going to help the academic community in various ways like when a lecturer cannot make it to class he can still communicate to us.
Learning at home amidst this brouhaha is not easy though that is emotional stress plus lockdown is an obstacle. We are hoping and praying that innovative idea of the school authority becomes a success.

Mr.Hakeem 🔊,: To concludeMr.Hakeem commended the University Authorities for a good job done in rolling out this E-learning process so as to fast track learning and also coming out with the Application for admission ( E-voucher service ) which is very thoughtful measure taken by the university in this time of crisis.
Derrick🔊:Thank You,Mr.Hakeem for accepting my invitation for an interview.
Mr.Hakeem🔊: You are most welcome, Junior Malcolm X.
