In a gesture of community support, Abigail Ohenewaa, a candidate for the Dr Hilla Limann Junior Common Room (JCR) presidency, yesterday on the 14th of June visited the mosque and donated a variety of items to the Limann Imam to assist with the ongoing renovation of the local mosque.
"The mosque is an important cultural and spiritual hub for the Limann community," Ohenewaa said. "As a JCR president hopeful, I'm committed to supporting initiatives that improve local infrastructure and bring people together. This renovation will help ensure the mosque can continue serving the needs of residents for years to come."
The GMSA President expressed deep gratitude for Ohenewaa's generous contribution, noting that community support is vital for projects of this scale. "This donation from Ms. Ohenewaa will go a long way in helping at some point of the renovation. We wish her all the best in the upcoming election."
